At Home Collections Agent

Are you a dedicated professional that is comfortable with collections in a customer friendly manner and have the ability to negotiate and close the deal? This is a virtual role in which you will apply, test, interview, and serve our customers virtually!

**Please note: YOU WILL HAVE TO BE AVAILABLE FOR A TWO WEEK ONSITE TRAINING. Training will be at our Carrollton, TX location from 3 pm to 8 pm, starting on May 21st and ending on June 1st.

Successful Work At Home Agent will:

  • Answer inbound calls and assist client's customers in paying delinquent accounts
  • Offer customers the benefit and ease of paying their bill
  • Update customer records based on information collected
  • Provide positive and effective collections with customer service
  • Participate in team meetings and coaching sessions in an effort to continuously improve performance
  • Provide other services as defined by client requirements and instructions from center leadership

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly PC literate
  • Ability to comprehend, catpture and interpret basic customer information while offering solutions
  • Ability to treat people with respect under ALL circumstances
  • Sound Judgemental powers
  • Ability to manage difficult customer situations and respond effectively to customers
  • Punctuality – must be ready to work when scheduled and adhere to a daily schedule
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and identify logical solutions
  • Must have the ability to follow written instructions either through training materials, chat, Instant Messaging, or email
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strongs communication skills (able to articulate effectively with customer)
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to type at least 35 wpm with less than 5% error rate
  • Strong Work ethic
  • Flexibility to meet shift requirements based on call volume changes
  • Ability to provide extra hours during times when call volumes are higher than expected

System requirements: Must have Necessary Phone, computer and Internet connection as approved by IT
